AUGUST
Praise God as we enter the middle of August we are experiencing a break in the hot weather.
We are even getting rain and everything that was turning brown is turning green again...
We had a last minute surprize & blessing at the top of the month, the chruch in Tennessee
that we took 2 years off the road to be a part of had a reunion of the original staff that
helped get Grace Chapel started...they sent us a donation to be able to afford the gas &
motel so we packed quickly & took off...It was wonderful to see our long time friends
Steve & Sarah Berger (Grace Pastor) and Ron & Pat Clonts who moved from Calif to
help start the church and of course all the friends we made the 2 years we were a part of
this body...It was a quick trip there & back but well worth it, we also got to visit 2 other
couples that we knew who now live in that area...What a blessing the trip was.

We got home & rested then took off for Olathe KS for the annual Conference that we do
every August at CCJC...it's always a joy to see everyone & meet some new folks, CCJC
Pastor Rick & Charlotte have become very close friends and Xavier & Trudy Ries attend
also every year, we all agreed that Xavier's teachings were the best ever...We were blessed
to hear Ray Yungen again and meet & hear Warren Smith...both men warning us of the
reality of scriptures coming to pass right before our very eyes...I highly reccommend both
men's books: Ray Yungen; A Time of Departing & For Many Shall Come in My Name,
available at www.lighthousetrails.com and Warren Smith; The Light that was Dark &
Deceived on Purpose available through Mountain Stream Press 1-800-247-6553...

There are SO many scriptures warning us about the signs at the end times, one of my
favorite is: 1 Timothy 4:1 'Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some
shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils'...
And there are others you can look up such as: 2 Tim 3:13 & 4:3 & 4/ 2 Peter 2:1 & 2
2 Peter 3:3 and 2 Peter 3:17 is really warning how 'knowing this beforehand be on
guard so that your not carried away by the error of the wicked, fall from your own
steadfastness'...
Sounds like a warning we should all heed, that the devils deception
will be so subtle & convincing that he will decieve even the elect IF possible...how
can we be sure to NOT BE DECIEVED...KNOW THE WORD OF GOD...
There are many teaching a nice sounding gospel right now, you can read Ray's books
mentioned above to see who they are, I encourage you to study your bible, read these
books and be warned and be at peace in the midst of the devils onslaught of deception.

On a personal note my health issues are cleared up & I'm getting my energy back...
We are excited about the Prison date the 21st and we'll begin to schedule the Nursing
Homes again...
You can read months past to catch up on our adventures.........

JULY
Here it is near the end of July & I haven't written an update...partly I guess because I have not
been feeling good & have been tired & no energy since I got the flu the end of April...I had a
a cough for 6 weeks then got the flu again then went into some dental problems including having
a tooth extraction and 2 other teeth problems I'm dealing with now on top of all this I have a
problem in my right ear & developed a fever blister...needless to say I am a mess...

But it has given me time to spend lots of time in the word & prayer...God continues to blow my
mind in His word...which I love. He has brought out the many scriptures on suffering including
Phil 1:29/3:10/1Peter 4:13/Romans 8:17 and 2 Cor 1:5 "For just as the sufferings in Christ are
ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ." I don't think this relates only
to physical suffering but sharing in the things that bring suffering to God, like unrepentant hearts
& natural disasters that leave people homeless, starving, dying & of course man's wicked treatment
to others including children in the form of neglect, abandonment, abuse, molestation, rape, murder.
I often say with Paul, I long to die & go be with Christ (Phil 1:21-23), that would be FAR better,
but to stay here & share in the fellowship of suffering with Christ is quite a sacrifice, to spend time
in prayer & intercession for all who are lost & dying apart from God, to suffer in spirit along with
them, to cry for & with those I never met, to imagine myself in a situation where my home & all I
own just gone, swept away, to imagine parents watching a child dying, to imagine people laying
in beds dying of cancer, to pray for children being sexually abused, it tears me up & then to know
God sees it all...as Larry's song "All Gods Children" on our "Purple" CD says, "Pray, Pray, Pray".

Because of all my health issues we haven't been going into Nursing Homes or much of anything
else lately...we had one Church date this month to fill in for a Worship team in Norman OK &
it took all I had not to cry as I couldn't hear myself, but I just focused on HIM & somehow got
thru it...our next date is our annual Conference in Olathe KS the 2nd week end of August...

We thank you for visiting our web site...and pray that we all focus more on HIM than on the
crazy condition of the world's situation's that are swirling around us hoping to consume us,
but greater is HE that is in us, let us put on the full armor & stand firm... In Jesus...

JUNE

We had a WONDERFUL trip to Indiana. Our usual 2 campgrounds weren't available & we ended
up at a new place that was so quiet & lots of trees & not crowded...thank you Lord...It was great to
see dear friends again in St Louis & Blue Is & Valpo & Michigan & Dyer & Griffith...The Lord
greatly blessed the trip...We had nice visits with Larry's family & some long time friends.

Gayle Erwin called & asked us to meet him for a date in Tulsa as soon as we got home...Always
a blessing to see him & Ada.

We didn't get to do any nursing homes in May as I had the flu the first half of the month & then
we were on that trip the second half of the month, we'll have to do several in June...we already
had one call & ask us to come back again...

MAY

May is half gone already...we are getting ready to leave for a short trip to Northern Indiana,
see our schedule for details...We'll stop & see our friends at Calvary Chapel St Louis on the
way & have a night of music & fellowship...the church in St Joseph MI is calling it our farewell
tour as it looks like fuel prices will keep us from traveling much more as time goes on.

We set this tour up because of the date on the 18th for a re-union of a Pastor & church that
helped get us started in the ministry of music & travel...It may be the last time we see some of
these folks in this life...

We are already dreading leaving our cat & 3 dogs at home. We still take 4 cats with us, one is
on his last leg of this earthly journey & another has a condition that requires an enema every
couple weeks...so our hands are full with them...

We look forward to seeing a lot of dear friends & some of Larry's family on this trip.
When we get home we have a lot of work getting ready for a bike rally at a local church...

Keeping our eyes on Jesus the author & finisher of our fate & faith...

APRIL

Here we go again, time is flying so fast. We are very busy this month with lots of repairs on our
vehicles & things around the house. Larry finally finished the closet in the bedroom enough to
put clothes in it. Nice to have enough room to hang clothes & see the clothes...

We have 3 Nursing Homes this month and the one on the 29th is a return visit for us. They are
planning a special event of a 50's Party. We are going to learn a bunch of 50's songs for them
get up & dance to. They will have a special meal & 50's costumes...I am looking for a big full
skirt & blouse, Larry will be fine in jeans & a white T shirt...we'll have to take some pictures...

We also were invited back to Andover KS to Hope Community Church to do their annual
Biker Sunday April 27th...we always enjoy going to Hope & to Biker Sunday especially.

Next month will also be very busy, we were contacted to be a part of a surprize reunion for
a pastor friend who is retired. They asked us to come back for the event. We had a church
in Southern Michigan contact us about the same time so we put a small tour together...
Larry has family in the area also, so it will be a busy trip. We were asked to figure up what
the fuel cost might be to get there & we all fell over to realize it will be at least $900.00
It is getting harder to believe we can do this much longer. Thats a lot of money just for fuel.
To add that much to the cost of a trip & knowing we need money to pay all our other bills
and to live on...see what I mean...

Pray for God's blessings in your life as you seek Him in prayer & reading of His Word.

MARCH

This has been a crazy month...While doing the church service in Ft Smith on the 9th Larry's
sax fell off a new stand he was trying out that put the sax high off the floor & during the
service the sax fell off the stand, he got it working enough to use in on a couple of songs at
Nursing Home we had scheduled that afternoor...BUT at the Nursing Home Kathy fell &
got several bruses & bumps & sprained her right wrist...can't really figure out how/why she
fell...it was like being knocked over & no one/nothing was there...Larry put his sax into the
repair shop in Tulsa & it is now home & in good working order...

Then Kathy's dad (step) went into the hospital with congestive heart failure & was not
expected to make it, he was intubated for 5 days & he told the Dr he did not want to be
intubated again, but the Dr wanted to try it for a few days...next time the papers will be in
hand so he will not be intubated, please pray for Ernie's acceptance of God's salvation.
Kathy flew out to be with the family as at first they were planning his funeral, then things
changed & they were planning Hospice, then things changed & they were planning an
assisted living type arrangement, then things changed & he is now at home with one of
Kathy's brothers & his wife taking care of him till he is on his feet...while Kathy was out
in Calif one of the cats had to go into the Animal Hospital, but he is home now & he is
also recouperating...

We are still seeking God as to what we are to do. We are still planning to go into Nursing
type facilities. We do have church's contact us for an occassional date...

February

Pray things are going well for you as you read this right now...I haven't been keeping up with
updates as you can see. I did just update our schedule. As you can see we haven't had much
activity lately. We are still at a loss as to how to open up more doors of opportunity in the area's
closer to home, we're not one for just opening up a phone book & just start calling churches...
We are opening up the phone book for Nursing Homes and there we are generally well received.
We haven't been looking outside our immediate area yet as we know we can't travel too far as
the fuel costs are so high and until we bring in more income we don't feel we should take on that
expense...

We appreciate your stopping by to see what we've been up to & we invite you to give us a
holler...at: LnK@stewartmusic.com .............We'd also really appreciate your prayer support
as we continue to "Seek first the Kingdom of God & His Righteousness" knowing that our
needs will be met by His all sufficient means. And we'd really ask you to pray for In His Name
Ministry (IHNM) and ask that you visit their web site at: www.inhisname.org and pray for
the needs you read about on their web site...and possible helping as God leads.
They are very good friends who are serving God in a very real way. We have been privledge
to be a part of their ministry off & on over the years.

We can't all do all their needs to be done but we can all pray...

January

Well 07 is gone & 08 is well on its way...we had a good trip to CA & back, we both got the
flu & had to cancel one of our Church dates, but other than that, all is well... Our dogs were
getting out so we rushed back home, leaving CA on the 24th...more work on the fence line.
Still praying about our immediate future...we have another Nursing Home booked 1/15.
Would love prayer support as we go into the Nursing Homes, they all respond with such
appreciation that we will come in for no charge & do music, our gifts are being used &
God is glorified...

DECEMBER UPDATE:

The end of 07 is near...we are preparing to head West for our annual Retreat at Forest Home.
We have been praying about new directions for our life & ministry & a friend recommended
Nursing Homes... We did our first Nursing Home last week so we'd have an idea when we
got home after Christmas if we could do this, and we both loved it & felt a peace...so it looks
like we'll start going into Nursing Homes & Assisted Living Facilities in 2008...Hopefully more
Churches will open up to help us make a living staying close to home...We'd love your prayer
especially in regards to the Nursing Homes...this is truely a group of society that most don't
want to deal with...If you would like to help send us into Nursing Homes you can send your
help to the address above...thank you & have a BLESSED CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR.

November update:

The year is all but done...amazing...it truely went so fast...We are getting ready to leave home again &
head west for maybe the last time for a while...Still not sure what our future will look like, only know it
will include a lot of seeking God & HIS direction...We hope you will all have a very Blessed Holiday
Season & a CHRISTMAS focused on JESUS CHRIST & Him risen...Even so come Lord JESUS...

October 2007 update:

Seems like I'm always mentioning how fast time is flying. I can't believe it's the middle of Oct 07 already...
We got back from our West Coast tour and as always it takes us a bit to get rested up & unpacked &
re-setteled at home.We got back to find our dogs had been digging & climbing their way out of the yard,
they were sick & one had lost a lot of weight...Just adding to our desire to stay home more. We added up
our income vs expense & the result was $260.00... We began to pray earnestly about our desire to come
off the road for a time & to concentrate on all the work & repair to our house & property & take care of
these animals that we did not ask for but love dearly & take the responsibility seriously. And especially to
work on our music...ALL of which we have negelected over all these years of travel. And now with fuel
prices as well as food & lodging so high we see we can't afford to travel as we have been...

We are earnestly seeking God as to where we go from here, we have lots of ideas but want God to direct.
Just thinking about not traveling is hard but on this last tour I felt I was saying goodbye to some places...
Hopefully just for a while or maybe only a few short trips through out the year, but who knows...
as we get older this will not get easier & prices will continue to go up...
We'd appreciate your prayers to under gird us as we spend some time in transition seeking God about
how or where we will work and make our income.
Thank you for your thoughts & prayers, we'd love to hear from you as it seems so many of us are going
thru a time of change & transition...
Thanking God in Jesus for the brotherhood of Christ and praying for the unity in the faith...

August update:

We enjoyed the annual PAL's Conference in Olathe KS...Always a joy to see Rick & Charlott
and Xavier & Trudy from Pasadena & this year they had Roger Oakland...now there's a gem
of a guy...you ought to visit his web site at www.understandthetimes.org............
On the way home from the Con our motor home broke down...had to sit on a tiny 2 lane road
for 5 hours (in over 100 degree heat) till a tow truck could get to us...We we're towed to Chanute
KS where we knew an RV Park was and the next morning Larry walked across the street to the
CAT dealer & a man come over and hooked up a lap top to start the bus to get us into the shop.
Thank God it was just a fuse holder that had burned, and we got fixed up & got home 24 hours
later than we'd planned, but we got home...

We are now preparing to head West to California...Looking forward to visiting friends & relatives
on the West Coast...
It is VERY difficult to leave our 3 dogs & outdoor cat alone here...
Thanks for stopping by our web site...God Bless you, even so come Lord Jesus...

July 30th Update:

We just got back home after being gone a month, we had a wonderful tour to NM, CO, ID, UT..
Other than prices getting higher it was a real good trip, meeting new friends & seeing long time
friends we haven't seen in years...Always enjoy God's opportunities to minister outside the church
in various situations as we travel. So many sad things happening to people these days, so many deaths,
so many in need of encouragement & fellowship...We again looked at property in Colorado, just in
case it was a miracle deal...never know...Always open to God doing something different with us...
Got home & the grass was almost too high to cut...the dogs & cat were in very good shape as a
wonderful Christian friend came by most days to keep them from getting too lonely, Praise God!
Pray all is well with you & that you enjoy time daily with our Father & Lord...

June 2007

It's been over a year since we've updated our web site...
David Orr had to relinquish his help as he became the governor of Kansas Lions
& is working with the Kansas Rock Hall of Fame.
The Lord has brought Sean Pickard along to help us get up & running again...
He is teaching me to do this my self...I could use some prayer please...
We are very grateful for Sean's help...God does answer prayer...

06 went so fast & 07 is doing the same, half the year is almost gone already...
We started off in January in an ice storm, very interesting, as we lost all power
for a week...we would go out to the motorhome to cook...luckily we had a couple propane
heaters in this old house, but no hot water. We had several church friends help us with a
generator so we'll not have to to without power again... I burn candles all the time anyway
but it was different to need to burn them...It has really made me appreciate candles & I've
become a little more conservative in my use of them since...

The ice ruined a lot of our trees & left the property a mess...And on the 20th of last month (May)
our friends from Riverview Fellowship Ft Smith Arkansas came over & helped Larry work on the
property...God has really blessed us this year with others coming to our aid and helping us...

We have spent most of May working on our homestead...as it gets so neglected when we travel...
What Larry would rather do is work on music...but we find that each year we must set aside
some time to work on the house/garage/property...also maintanaince on the motor home
& van & music equipment...so May has been a month of much repair including his sax & flute...
It seems as we seek God & whatever He would have us to do it always comes back to music...
we are always available to those around us that may have needs, maybe a hospital visit or to
go be with someone in a rough time in their life...but the most of our work is in music...

We are blessed to be available to go to a Church to fill in for the Worship Team or maybe
even the Pastor, or to provide music for a special event...And we always have new music
we're anxious to record, but that takes so long and some songs have been waiting a long time
to be worked on & recorded , some for years...We're just now realizing unless something
changes, we may never get to all of them, we may never finish a lot of things we have on
our hearts to do...

During this time home we have also acquired another dog, but it ended up being a blessing
as Charlie has been so lonely since Buster died...Charlie & Dingo play together like little boys,
& watching them gives us a calming break in our busy day...maybe I'll learn how to include
some pictures as Sean has time to teach me...
